Simone & Tuesday LLC is the next step in a ten year mission. Simone McKelvey, the CEO and maker, purchased a single bar of natural soap as a Fathers’ Day present in 2013. The gift was well-received and showed almost immediate benefits, alleviating skin issues which had not been relieved by other soaps, but at $13 per bar was cost prohibitive to include in a daily lifestyle. Simone couldn’t believe it; she had found a natural solution to the long-term skin ailment of a loved one. It was practical and easy to use, but it was too expensive to help the person who needed it. She saw an opportunity to help that would change her life forever. 

She began researching the soap she had bought. She looked up the active ingredient and learned everything she could about it; where it was from, its benefits and side effects. Her interest grew into a passion, and before she knew it Simone was researching essential oils, natural skin exfoliants and other all-natural ingredients with positive benefits on skin and health. It wasn’t long before she started researching the soap-making process and discovered she could provide natural soaps with positive skin benefits for much less than $13. 

Simone made her first batch of home-made, natural soap on July 21, 2013. She replicated that $13 bar of soap for a fraction of the cost, shared it, and enjoyed the experience so much she had to do it again. This was the genesis of her first natural skincare solutions company. The rewarding sensation of creating and sharing something that will help those around her, continues to be the mission of the company today.
